There is no booking engine here, and no catalogue to add to a basket. A Saltveil journey is written: a document that says where you go, in what order, at what pace, with what actually has been arranged, and with the parts that remain uncertain named as uncertain.
Four stages

Written enquiry
You describe who is travelling, roughly when, and how you like to move. We reply with an honest read on whether the season and region fit, including when they do not.

Geographic proposal
A written outline of a journey shape: regions, sequence, pace, and the constraints of the season. No prices are quoted at this stage because nothing has been reserved.
03
Costing and confirmation
Once the shape is agreed, we cost the journey against real, currently available arrangements and set them out in writing. A journey exists only once you have confirmed that document.

On the coast
You travel with a written journey record and a contact for the duration. Plans are reviewed against conditions as the journey runs rather than defended.
Working principles
Few moves
Fewer bases, longer stays. Packing and unpacking is not travel.
Spare days
Days with no fixed purpose, so that lost crossings do not cascade.
Weather leads
Days are chosen against the forecast rather than defended against it.
Local terms
Access, land and village life are respected as they are, not staged.
What we will not do
Promise conditions
Aurora, whales, seabirds, clear skies and open interior tracks are never guaranteed.
Quote before we cost
No indicative or “from” pricing. A figure appears only when it is real.
